Dr. Jack Hyles began preaching at the age of 19 and has pastored for over half a century. These pastorates include churches that varied in membership from 44 to over 100,000. He pastored the Miller Road Baptist Church for over 7 years and saw this church, under the Lord, grow from a membership of 44 to over 4,000. It was from the Miller Road Baptist Church that he was called to his last pastorate at the First Baptist Church in Hammond, Indiana.
Dr. Hyles pastored the First Baptist Church from August, 1959 until his death on February 6, 2001. Under his leadership he was acclaimed to have the "World's Largest Sunday School."
Dr. Hyles is the author of over 40 books and pamplets, exceeding over 10 million copies in sales. Dr. Hyles' experience covers numerous evangelistic campaigns and Bible conferences. He has preached in virtually every state in the Union and in many foreign countries.
Dr. Tom Neal
Dr. Tom Neal surrendered to preach when he was nineteen years of age. He then enrolled in Tennessee Temple College in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In the fall of 1966, he started his training under Dr. Lee Roberson's ministry at Highland Park Baptist Church.
In November of 1980, the Lord led Dr. Tom Neal to Orange Park, Florida, to pastor at Berean Baptist Church. He has led Berean Baptist Church from a handful of people to a thriving ministry in one of the fastest growing areas of northeast Florida. He has been honored with doctorate degrees from a number of Christian colleges. In the fall of 1998, he started Berean Baptist College to train future servants of God for the work of God around the world.
His goals and desire are to do all he can to encourage others to contend for the faith and to use his life for the propagation of the Gospel around the world.
